جستاری نو در تحدی قرآن از منظر علامه طباطبایی و میرزا مهدی اصفهانی
Abstract:   (237 Views)

The Qur'an as a superhuman book and an eternal miracle has been a subject of dispute among exegetes about how it’s a miracle. Some consider its eloquence as the only challenge of the Qur'an (tahaddi). However, if we consider literary eloquence to be the only challenge, many doubts will be cast on it. Allameh Tabatabai considers limiting the challenge to literary eloquence contrary to the verses of tahaddi. Mirza Isfahani is a monopolist and considers the challenge of the Quran to be a mere opposition between Divine and human knowledge. He believes that since the Qur'an considers itself a guide, its tahaddi should be a source of guidance for mankind forever, and that guidance is only in the Divine knowledge confronting the human knowledge. He considered human knowledge indoctrination of the devil and provided a historical analysis of the reputation of literary eloquence as a challenge of the Quran.
