The problem of the meaning of life with different issues such as ontological questions such as; The purpose of creation, existence, etc., and psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, emptiness, etc. are related. The answer to the meaning of life has always been of interest from both the religious and psychological perspectives, and most of the heavenly religions, especially Islam, consider true life to be from God and have introduced the meaning of life as "closeness to God". The purpose of this article is to examine the meaning of life from the perspective of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) as an infallible Imam (a.s.) and to compare his ideas with Carl Jung's analytical psychology (Zurich system), which analyzed religious issues and human psychology. This article is based on the comparative-analytical method and based on religious and psychological foundations and principles; done The findings of the research show that the meaning of life in the statements of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) is formed in the three main axes of God knowledge, self-knowledge and love of nature, which these components are in line with Jung's psychological model and the meaning of life that is in The combination of religion and soul is compatible.
