The word "Al-Gayz" is one of the most frequently used emotional terms in religious texts, especially Nahj al-Balagha, which has a specific semantic load in the fields of morality, education, government, and knowledge. This study aims to conduct a semantic analysis of the term and distinguish it from its synonyms such as "Ghadab," "Sakhat," "Maqt," "Naqmah," "Al-Hafizah," and "Al-Badirah." In this regard, employing a descriptive-analytical method and utilizing classical and contemporary lexical sources, exegetical texts, and specialized software, the data were collected, extracted, compared, and analyzed with a focus on the contextual usage of the lexemes The research stages included identifying the key term, extracting synonyms, analyzing morphological and derivational structures, examining agentive roles and ethical valuations, and conducting a comparative semantic analysis. The results indicate that "Ghayẓ" carries an intense internal emotional charge and is frequently employed within the advisory and ethical contexts of Nahj al-Balāgha Furthermore, each of the synonymous terms possesses a distinct semantic domain and ethical valuation, playing a significant role in Islamic pedagogy and behavioral guidance.
