Abstract: (14 Views) |
| Forced testimony by testifying against the truth is a moral and social anomaly that has widespread destructive effects on human relations and social justice. This act is strongly condemned in the Holy Quran and Islamic traditions and is considered one of the major sins. The purpose of this research is to explain the Quranic and narrational foundations of preventing forced testimony and to present solutions based on religious teachings. This article analyzes the relevant verses and narrations using a descriptive-analytical method and using interpretative, narrational and jurisprudential sources and shows how principles such as piety, justice, honesty and responsibility prevent the occurrence of this anomaly and concludes that the Holy Quran, by emphasizing truthfulness, honesty and the necessity of justice in testimony, has provided comprehensive solutions to prevent forced testimony. Islamic traditions have also had a deterrent effect in reducing this sin by listing the worldly and otherworldly consequences of testifying against the truth. Clarifying these principles and solutions can help regulate social relations and strengthen the judicial system. |
