The coherence of Muraat al-Nazir in Jawshan Sagheer's supplication

Jawshan Sagheer is an Islamic supplication which has been quoted in prominent books in a wider description than Dua Jawshan Kabir. The meaning of the coherence of Muraat al-Nazir in Jawshan Sagheer's supplication is actually a summary of the main features of this text, the coherence of its parts and the fit between its words. This harmony makes a semantic, verbal, syntactic or logical connection between the sentences of the text. Many factors cause coherence in the Jawshan Sagheer. One of these factors that is widely used in texts is Muraat al-Nazir. This figure of speech has been used a lot in Jawshan Sagheer's supplication, which has made the text of this prayer more coherent. The present article tries to analyze Jawshan Sagheer's supplication with the descriptive-analytical method, relying on the role and function of Muraat al-Nazir in this prayer. In this article, first, relying on library sources, the theoretical concepts and definitions of coherence and Muraat al-Nazir are discussed, and then a summary of Jawshan Sagheer's supplication and its goals are mentioned, and at the end, the theory of coherence is discussed based on the evidence and examples extracted from Jawshan Sagheer's supplication. One of the achievements of this research is that the use of words, concepts, and topics in Jawshan Sagheer's prayer has an extraordinary coherence, and Muraat al-Nazir of words related to human beings and their social life is clearly evident in this text.  In the field of divine attributes, there are also various sets of words that make a significant contribution, and in the case of the system of existence and the phenomena of existence, the use of Muraat al-Nazir is quite evident. By examining this prayer, it is clear that the combination of Muraat al-Nazir with other figures of speech such as: contrast, creates semantic harmony between the words and phrases of this prayer.
